This was an enjoyable 100 minutes, it wasn’t superb in any way shape or form, but it was fun.
I had never seen an episode of the HBO series that this film continues and from the trailers I was apprehensive about the quality of the jokes in the film. While they aren’t well devised intelligent jokes in the film Entourage certainly made me laugh out loud frequently.
In addition to the television cast a whole host of Hollywood celebrities had cameos in this film. Some of the best were Liam Nesson, Armie Hammer, Jessica Alba and George Takei. All 48 celebrities that had cameos in the film played fictitious versions of themselves and onscreen hilarity ensued. Of the 5 leading cast members Jeremy Piven is the most talented and his role of Film company manager Ari Gold is quite funny.
Overall the plot of this film when analysed is really quite weak and it requires no intellectual power to interpret. The range of celebrity cameos is quite funny and the movie does feature frequent laugh out loud moments. This comedy will be good for those looking for a fun night out!
